Panels reference
One section per panel. Each lists what the current build does and names the gaps, because an inspector that hides its gaps is worse than one with fewer features. Capture depends on the page, the frame and what WebKit exposes; see WebKit limits and data sources.
Elements
A live, lazily loaded DOM tree with frame selection, search, a touch and pointer picker, on-page highlight and breadcrumbs. Edit attributes, text and HTML; duplicate, delete, hide and show nodes; copy and scroll into view. Hover overlays from the tree and some advanced commands are still incomplete.
Styles
Matched and inherited rules with their source positions, filtered computed values, box geometry and grid or flex property readback. Edit and toggle declarations, add rules, edit selectors, and export your changes as JSON. Pseudo-state overrides (:hover, :focus and the like) are labelled simulations, not engine state. Cascade winners and authored positions are incomplete.
Console
Page-reported logs and errors with levels, text filtering, groups, inline objects and tables, and links to sources. Evaluate multiline JavaScript with history and completion, choosing the frame and the world. Worker output is not captured, and the selected-node history works in the isolated world only.
Network
A request table with a waterfall, filters, recording and preserve-log options. Each request has Headers, Payload, Preview, Response, Initiator, Timing and Cookies details, plus copy as URL, cURL or fetch, and bounded HAR import and export. Bodies and timing phases appear only when they were captured. Live initiator stacks are not available.
Sources
Raw, live DOM and approximate pretty-printed views with syntax highlighting, wrapping, search, line navigation, source-map actions and export or share. Raw reads come from the cache by default; an explicit re-fetch is labelled replay because it is a new response, not the bytes the page received. There is no debugger.
Storage
Inspect and edit cookies, local storage and session storage; read-only IndexedDB pages; cache entry previews; coarse usage and quota; and confirmed clearing of WebKit site data. Manifest inspection and service-worker details are unavailable in the current build.
Responsive
Custom dimensions, presets, rotation, Fit or 1:1 scaling with zoom and pan, rulers, user-agent and media options, actual viewport readback and viewport screenshots. Device pixel ratio, touch and hover hardware are not emulated and never claimed to be.
Info
Page metadata, discovered resource counts, the document headers and security information WebKit makes available, and export as viewport PNG, PDF or web archive. Missing redirect and TLS details are labelled. Full-page and element screenshots are not available yet.
Accessibility
Roles, names, issues, focus order, headings and landmarks, with reveal in Elements. This is an inspection derived from the DOM and CSS, not WebKit’s engine accessibility tree, and the panel says so.
Resources
An inventory of discovered resources with previews for captured images, fonts and media, byte export and opening in a new tab. Limited to what was actually captured.
Utilities
Offline helpers for JSON, Base64, URLs, JWT decoding (no signature verification), hashes, text case, timestamps, number bases, escaping, colours and contrast, regular expressions, UUIDs, line diff and user-agent parsing.
